William Morgan is co-founder of Restless Egg, the incubator for artist-founders, creators who have found technical and experiential frontiers through creative experimentation. Restless Egg provides capital, infrastructure, and support to help these individuals move from experimental provocations to scalable, paradigm-shifting products.
Previously, William completed a PhD on the philosophy of AI at UC Berkeley, where his research examined how transformer models reconfigure philosophy. During that time, he also took part in the inaugural cohorts of Antikythera and the Cosmos Institute.
William's writing can be found in academic journals like e-flux and Theory, Culture & Society, in Interplay, a volume he co-edited about game engines and non-human intelligence and nowadays on Substack.
